A word from Wildlife for Tomorrow President, James Goughnour…
History
The Foundation for the Conservation of Arizona’s Wildlife was created in 1990 to enhance the management, protection and enjoyment of Arizona’s fish and wildlife resources. Today, the organization does business under the name Wildlife for Tomorrow (WFT). WFT is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that works closely with the Arizona Game and Fish Department to provide additional support for projects and education activities where traditional resources are not adequate. WFT’s efforts focus entirely on worthy projects within Arizona and no funds are passed on to national offices or to projects in other parts of the country. WFT does not participate in or attempt to influence regulatory, management or legislative decisions, nor does it take a position on controversial or value-sensitive issues. Its single purpose is to support important and worthy projects that make a difference to the wildlife and people of Arizona.
